1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing DontBuildThat ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you're probably the type of person who builds another todo app and wonders why it doesn't sell.

2. Description of Service

DontBuildThat provides market intelligence data and APIs to help entrepreneurs avoid building businesses that are doomed to fail. We scrape business marketplaces, analyze failure patterns, and serve you the brutal truth about market saturation.

We are not financial advisors. We're just really good at telling you when your idea sucks.

3. API Usage and Limits

• Free plan: 100 API calls per month
• Pro plan: 10,000 API calls per month
• Enterprise: Unlimited (within reason)

Don't try to abuse our API. We monitor usage and will suspend accounts that exceed fair use. Yes, we can tell the difference between legitimate use and you trying to download our entire database.

4. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period. No refunds for partial months, but honestly, our API costs less than your daily coffee habit.

Failed payments result in immediate service suspension. We're not a bank.

5. Data Accuracy

We work hard to provide accurate market data, but we're not perfect. Market conditions change faster than crypto prices. Use our data as guidance, not gospel.

We are not liable if you ignore our "AVOID" recommendation and build it anyway.That's on you, chief.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service to:

• Resell our data without permission
• Reverse engineer our algorithms
• Build a competing service using our data
• Spam our API with requests
• Share your API keys publicly (seriously, don't do this)

7. Limitation of Liability

DontBuildThat is not liable for any damages arising from your use of our service. This includes but is not limited to:

• Lost profits from not building that revolutionary todo app
• Hurt feelings from our brutal market assessments
• Existential crises about your startup ideas
• Therapy costs from facing market reality

8. Privacy and Data

We collect minimal data about you. See our Privacy Policy for details. We don't sell your data because we're not Facebook.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of major changes via email or through our service. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
